The Daphne du Maurier Festival of Arts and Literature (10 -19 May 2007)

This Festival has taken place in and around the beautiful small port of Fowey (c9 miles away) since 1987. Co-ordinated by Restormel Borough Council, the Festival lasts 10 days (Thu 10 - Sat 19 May) and includes a wide range of events and activities.

The programme of professional events, including music, comedy, poetry and talks by authors and celebrities, takes place in an attractive tented 'village' overlooking the beautiful Fowey estuary. Community events form a large part of the Festival: plays, concerts, talks, guided walks and boat trips, open gardens and much more.
